Texas Tech freshman Janine Beckie was selected to the All-Big 12 Tournament Team on Sunday.

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech freshman forward Janine Beckie was named to the Big 12 All-Tournament team as announced by the conference Sunday.
Beckie, who was named Big 12 Rookie of the Year prior to the postseason tournament, scored the game-winning goal in the Red Raiders' 2-0 victory over Kansas in the quarterfinals Wednesday. 
The Highlands Ranch, Colo., native leads Texas Tech with 12 goals on the season, five of which have been game-winners.
Texas Tech fell to Baylor 2-1 in the semifinals of the Big 12 Tournament Friday night. Baylor went on to defeat TCU 4-1 Sunday in the championship match to capture the Big 12 title. 
Beckie is the second Red Raider in program history to be named to the Big 12 All-Tournament team. 
Beckie and the Red Raiders now await their NCAA Tournament fate with the NCAA Selection Show scheduled for Monday at 3:30 p.m. (CT).
