Texas Tech baseball improved to 2-0 with an 10-1 beating over Northern Colorado. The pitcher Corey Taylor pitched 6 innings, with 4 strikeouts, and just giving up the one and only run of the game.

Tech scored 4 runs in the first inning and never looked back. They then extended their lead with a double and two run single which made the score 8-0 and then scored 3 more runs to finish the game scoring 10 runs.

Tech will play again tonight v.s. BYU at 6 p.m. Tech will be looking to start 3-0 on the season.
