Senior Christine Hyde scored a layup with 3.5 seconds left and gave Tech the 72-70 win inside Allen Fieldhouse.

Tech led 39-23 at halftime before the no give up KU team used two runs, and a three pointer with 19 seconds left to tie the game. Curry then called a timeout. On the inbound PG Smalls handed the ball the Hyde, she drove down the middle of the lane and pushed the shot up. It bounced in and Tech walked out of one of the hardest places to play in the Big 12 with a win.

Chynna Brown had 20 points, and 8 rebounds. Tech now has 10 Big 12 Conference wins. This is the most under Kristy Curry and the most for the program since 2004-2005.

Tech now has 20 total wins, and hopefully tomorrow they will finally enter the polls...something they should have done a while ago.

Tech will continue the march to the postseason with a game at home v.s. #23 Oklahoma State. Tech defeated the Cowgirls earlier this season 64-59. Then Tech will head to Manhattan to face a struggling KSU Wildcat team, and then finish the season at home, on senior night v.s. a strong Oklahoma team.

Until then, Guns Up!
