Texas Tech Looks To Beat Iowa State...Again
Yes, that is right...again. Remember earlier this season, that little upset Tech had of Iowa State in Lubbock. Yep. So, now Tech will be entering Ames, v.s. a hot Iowa State team, and they also have a 21 game winning streak in the Hilton. Ouch.
Tech's record now stands at 9-15 (2-11) and Iowa State stands at 18-8 (8-5). This is going ot be one tough puppy but the good news is that we beat them earlier this year so obviously we did something right...?
A win would snap a seven game losing streak, the good news is that they have lost to very good teams and recently have had a momentum boost that almost led them to wins v.s. West Virginia, and a seemly closer game v.s. Oklahoma.
Iowa State will be the 10th top 50 RPI team that the Red Raiders have faced in the last 12 games. The last win Tech has was v.s. Iowa State at the USA. Winning three Big 12 games would be the first time that has happened since 2011.
Tech defeated ISU by 5 in Lubbock with a score of 56-51. This is the 23rd meeting between both schools and the series is tied at 11 all. Both teams are unranked. This game will be shown on ESPNU at 12:45 C.T.
Until then, Guns Up!
